More about Me and my camera

My Identical twin Brother would tell you that my introduction to photography came much earlier in life. One day when we were little I was chasing him through the house. I had him trapped with his back against the wall unit in the living room with no where to run. To my horror he reached up above his head to the shelf where he weaponised an old film camera by swinging it from the wrist strap. I still have the mark on my face. He maintains that he knocked a sense of photography into me.

The primary subject of my photography is people- photos of family and friends are so important. You never really know what life has in store for you and your loved ones, and photographs of them can remind you of all the good times you shared. People aren’t the only subject I photograph- I enjoy getting away to capture landscapes, wildlife, a bit of astrophotography and pretty much anything else I feel like at the time.

If you want to hire me then I want to be your photographer. But I want you to know that like many photographers this is not my full time job- I’m blessed with a full time job that pays well and I’m not pursuing photography to replace it, photography is a passion of mine that I don’t wish to destroy by turning it into the daily grind. Be sure to check out my work on this website as you can expect a similar level of quality. I can be available for Weddings, Outdoor family photos, couples shoots etc.

Contact me to discuss your photography needs / dates. We will confirm dates, times and photography. When you’re happy to make a booking you’ll need to pay 20% to confirm and lock in your booking. Once you’re confirmed I’m in and the date is yours! The deposit is non-refundable – but i’m happy to rescheduled where possible.

I shoot with a professional Nikon Digital SLR camera with professional Nikon Lenses. I also use a variety of light modifiers and accessories.

Full payment is due one week before the event.

All final high resolution images will be provided to you on a USB thumb drive in JPEG format. At my discretion files may be made available for you to download.

This varies depending on the event. A family shoot might take a week or two, where a wedding might take 6 – 8 weeks.
